Good Nights is embarking on a massive independent tour for the first time ever this April, bringing intimate music gigs to unique venues from Perth to Albany.
Mandurah is set to be the first stop along the way on Thursday 20th April, with the music company once again taking over the foyer at One Brighton Apartments, Barracks Lane for an evening of live music.
Headlining the tour is Queensland musician Josh Rennie-Hynes, who will be visiting Western Australia before embarking overseas for a massive mid year tour of the USA and radio campaign in North America.
Relatively new to the scene, Rennie-Hynes has quickly garnered praise as one of Australia’s finest young songwriters.
Authenticity is the defining aspect of Rennie-Hynes songs. He lives and breathes them, and this passion burns bright for all to see. He combines his love of honest and raw storytelling with deep introspection to create songs that are timeless and familiar, yet uniquely his own.
Rennie-Hynes’ live show takes the audience on a moving and unforgettable journey, and since the release of his debut album in 2014, he has toured relentlessly throughout Australia and New Zealand, building his ever-growing fan base.
He’s performed at major festivals such as The Americana Music Festival in Nashville, Woodford Folk Festival, Southern Fork Americana Festival in Auckland, Queenscliff Music Festival and the Nannup Music Festival, and will be making his debut appearance at the Fairbridge Festival as part of the Good Nights tour this April.
The Good Nights gig at Barracks Lane will give Mandurah residents the opportunity to enjoy an evening of live music and story-telling from Rennie-Hynes in an intimate, relaxed setting.
Joining Rennie-Hynes on the night is Perth’s Belle Harvey, who has just released her new single Drive.
Harvey has had a busy start to the year with an east-coast tour and an appearance at the Nannup Music Festival and the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Patrons are invited to bring along some drinks and dinner to enjoy on the night.
This show is family friendly with children’s tickets available. Tickets are limited, and are available from alwaysgoodnights.com/shows.
