Fremantle Dockers, Hawthorn, and West Coast Eagles supporters among others flooded Saint Damien’s Catholic Primary School on Friday last week.
In order to put an end to Harmony Day celebrations and welcome the beginning of the AFL season, the students got into the footy spirit and came to school dressed in their team colours.
Year 2 teacher Carla Cunningham said the day was a success, with the Dockers being the preferred team.
“The students appreciated the differences in team preferences, although there was a clear domination of Fremantle Dockers supporters,” she said.
