With the weather cooling down and the days getting shorter, Make Place are gearing up for another round of great events to guide Mandurah into winter.
Kicking off this Wednesday March 29, Bubbles and Brains brings together like-minded women from around the region to discuss interesting ideas. Entry is free from 6.30pm.
Next up, the Mandurah Soup Youth Event offers some free soup while four new ideas are pitched to the audience by some local thinkers. The ideas are voted for, with the event starting at 6pm on Friday March 31.
Morning Glory kicks off the week again on Monday April 3 from 7.30am. This coming week’s guest speaker will be Dawesville MP Zak Kirkup.
Make Place will then launch their Prodigy Young Entrepreneurs Program from 9am on April 6.
Aimed at 18 to 25-year-olds who want to be their own boss and start a business, but need to clarify their ideas, this one-day workshop will run attendees through the basics of business.
Bookings are essential; email natalie@businessfoundations.com.au.
TGI Friday then pops up again on April 7 from 4.30pm, with free drinks, delicious cheeses and live music by singer-songwriter Navana.
This month the event is free thanks to Bendigo Bank Halls Head, although RSVPs are still requested.
