The Shire of Murray is seeking volunteers to help bring its LiveLighter Pinjarra Festival 2017 to life.
Murray’s largest community event attracts over 12,000 visitor every year to the heart of Pinjarra’s heritage precinct for a weekend of music, performances, workshops and free activities for all.
This year’s festival will be held in Pinjarra’s Edenvale Homestead on June 3 and 4, over the WA Day long weekend.
“The Shire appreciates the strong community support the Festival receives each year, particularly from volunteers who set aside a few hours to assist at the event,” Murray Shire president Maree Reid said.
“Volunteering provides a great opportunity for community members to dabble in event management and contribute to community life.”
The Shire is seeking assistance with event set up and pull down and general hand responsibilities.
For more information about the festival and to register as a volunteer go t murray.wa.gov.au/pinjarra-festival or call the Shire’s Community Development team on (08) 9531 7777.
