The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has issued a bushfire advice warning for the northern part of Dawesville, due to an out-of-control and unpredictable bushfire.
The fire started near Thisbe Drive and Estuary Road about 9am this morning.
While there is no immediate threat to lives or homes, DFES has warned residents to keep updated as the situation may change.
There is a large amount of smoke in the area, and anyone who is planning to drive down Old Coast Road or the Dawesville Bypass to take extra precautions.
