An emergency call prompted a brisk response from Coolup firies on Thursday afternoon, with a paddock fire quickly brought under control.
The call came just after 2pm and reported a grass fire on Keane Road, near Fawcett Street.
Along with a crew from Dwellingup, firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Western Power were called to deal with downed power lines.
At this stage it is not clear what started the fire.
