Coolup Progress Association held their annual community Christmas party at the Coolup Hall on December 3.
Children were entertained by an animal nursery, bouncy castle, face painting and a rock climbing wall, thanks to sponsors Alcoa, the Shire of Murray and Pam Miles, and food was provided by Sandgroper BBQ.
Local woman Vanessa Black helped the Kids Club create Christmas crafts to decorate the hall for the occasion.
“A great crowd attended to celebrate Christmas Coolup style,” CPA secretary Bev Alexander said.
“Best of all for the small ones was of course Father Christmas arriving aboard a fire engine carrying a sack full of presents to deliver.”
The Coolup Progress Association is a group of community members committed to developing events, fundraising and infrastructure for Coolup, and bringing the town together.
