FOOTBALL: Peel Thunderbirds Megan and Jessica Williams became the first mother-daughter duo to take to the field together in WA Women’s Football League history.
SWIMMING: Jessica Bird, Summer Burkett and Ben Hollow picked up medals in the 2016 Junior State Swimming Championships at HBF stadium.
FOOTBALL: Former Peel Thunder stud turned South Mandurah Falcon spoke to the Mandurah Mail about his return to country footy.
FOOTBALL: The Peel Thunderbirds paid a touching tribute to their biggest fan, Madi Molloy, by holding the Madi’s Day Cup.
GOLF: Mandurah Country Club golfer Barry Squires took out the over 70s gross title at the Singapore Senior Men’s Open.
BOWLS: Mandurah-based blind lawn bowler Jayne Parsons was in training for her return to the Australian nationals.
FOOTBALL: Peel Thunder legend Rory O’Brien played his 100th game with the club.
BOXING: Alex Winwood was training the house down as he eyed his last chance to make the Olympic team at a qualifier in Azerbaijan.
