The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has warned a bushfire is threatening lives and property in Lake Clifton.
Fire crews are battling the blaze, which is near Forrest Highway.
The alarm was raised about 5.45pm.
The fire is understood to be burning in Lake Clifton in the Waroona shire.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services have issued a WATCH AND ACT warning for Lake Clifton Road and Forrest Highway in the Shire of Waroona, effective as of 6.45pm.
- The alert level for this fire has been upgraded as there is potential threat to property.
- There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is approaching in the area and conditions are changing.
- You need to leave or get ready to actively defend.
- The fire started near the intersection of FORREST HWY and LAKE CLIFTON RD in Shire of Waroona
- It is burning in bushland
