Fire crews from West Murray were called to extinguish a small blaze just off Forrest Highway on Friday afternoon.
The alarm was raised about 12.30pm with a small area of bushland ignited accidentally by Main Roads workers, according to attending firefighters.
The fire was quickly put out with no damage to property.
