Celebrating Christmas in Australia isn’t exactly like walking in a winter wonderland.
Sure, we get to go to the beach, enjoy barbecue-style Christmas dinners, and reunite with the family over backyard cricket, but sometimes we hanker for something a little more traditional.
This year the Mandurah Forum is giving local children the opportunity to experience a white Christmas, with a free indoor ice-skating rink to be set up in the centre from December 15-24.
The rink will open daily from 9am-4pm, except on Sundays when it will open from 10am-4pm.
The rink is 10x8 metres and it is recommended for children under 12.
