A man is due in court facing a string of charges after a siege in Mandurah.
The 40-year-old kept police at bay for four hours on Friday before he was tackled to the ground and arrested.
Mandurah police were conducting enquiries and knocked on the man's door in Golden Bay around 8.20 am.
They say the man reacted by threatening officers and throwing a bottle at them. The Tactical Response Group was called to the scene.
He's been charged with aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm, assaulting a public officer, threatening to injure or harm a person, criminal damage and endangering life.
He is due before Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday.
