Each year Mandurah’s Stretch Arts Festival is a highlight of the town’s calendar.
In 2017 the festival weekend is scheduled for May 6-7, and organisers are planning to put on a huge range of projects, events, performances, workshops, high quality arts and cultural experiences and learning opportunities.
Of course, none of this is possible without the vision of driven art project co-ordinators, and the artists themselves.
Positions are now open to those with experience in arts and culture projects.
Submit an expression of interest to be part of the 2017 Stretch Arts Festival and help co-ordinate various art projects and events including:
- Stretch Art Trail
- The Big Draw
- Drift Installation Art Award
For more information on these roles please contact the City of Mandurah’s art officers on 9550 3279.
There are also grants available for artists wishing to submit pieces to the festival.
The City of Mandurah welcomes applications from incorporated, not-for-profit organisations or individuals delivering projects in Mandurah.
Projects must have an outcome at, or involvement in, the Stretch Arts Festival in May 2017.
Applicants can apply for up to $2,000 funding from the $15,000 total funding pool.
