The timeless charm of May Gibbs’ classic Snugglepot and Cuddlepie comes to life in a new Australian adaptation performed at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
The gumnut babies are on a mission to see a human.
On their journey to the big city they meet friends and foes including Professor Kookaburra, Mrs Fantail, Mr Lizard, Mr Frog, Mrs Snake, Mr Possum and, of course, Little Ragged Blossom.
These much-loved characters come to life on stage as this funny and charming new production introduces today’s children to the wonderful world of May Gibbs.
The Sydney Morning Herald described the show as “an engaging romp, bringing the magical bush tale to life for another generation…skilfully done…imaginative.”
Whether it’s a first meeting for young audiences, or a trip down memory lane for grownups, this new contemporary adaptation will surprise and delight audiences of all ages.
Catch the show on Thursday November 3, at either 1pm or 6pm in the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
Tickets can be booked at manpac.com.au or box office 9550 3900.
