The Peel Cricket Association was forced to wait an extra week before getting their 2016/17 season underway with rain washing out all five games on the round one fixture scheduled for last Saturday.
Each game was abandoned due to the poor conditions, and rain forecast for the coming Saturday threatens to delay the season even further.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a possible morning shower for the round two matches, but with games starting at 12pm players will be hoping to finally hit the turf.
