Peel residents enjoyed the warm weather while learning more about mental health and wellbeing for Mental Health Week on Wednesday.
Local businesses, organisations and mental health professionals set up their stalls at the Mandurah foreshore to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to promote everyday wellbeing among the community.
However, the event not only aimed at putting mental health in the agenda, it also provided fun activities and games for free.
Attendees and passersby were able to join in at the bouncy castle, cuddle some animals at the petting zoo, and taste homebaked treats while learning more about the organisations available to reach out for help.
They could also check out some of the region’s best arts and crafts while listening to live music.
The event is part of the Act-Belong-Commit mental health campaign, which aims to protect and promote everyday life wellbeing.
