Arson Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding two suspicious Mandurah fires.
Just after 5am, on September 21 Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were called to a report of a commercial premises on fire on Dower Street.
The Cash Converters premises was destroyed and the damage is estimated at $1.7 million.
A short time after DFES and police arrived at the building fire they were advised of a Holden Commodore on fire on Lanyon Street in Mandurah, and it is believed the car was deliberately set on fire.
Police would like to speak with anyone who was in the area of the fires between 1am and 7am who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles.
