Mellie was found hiding under a palette in the pound.
Having been very badly beaten she was terrified of humans.
However, after foster care Mellie has thrived, gaining her trust back in humans.
Mellie is amazing with children, and although wary of new people, she quickly comes round once you have gained her trust.
She does not like all dogs, but with proper introduction can get along with small dogs.
Mellie has nice manners and knows how to sit, and is more than happy in the garden when left alone for a few hours.
She understands “no”, is a star whilst walking on the lead, and follows you around when off lead.
Mellie loves her toys, but also loves to chew them.
She is not keen on cars, is scared of bikes riding past her and does not enjoy baths.
Mellie is toilet trained, but gets so excited when you come home she sometimes has little accidents.
In a stable home, where Mellie can give you her love and loyalty, she simply would be a “star”.
