A pioneer of West Australian rock and roll and some of Perth’s first nightspots, Bill Blaine will perform at the Leslie Street Centre on October 19.
Blaine, who has performed since starting Bill Blaine and the Dynamics in 1959, took inspiration form the rock rock and roll of Bill Haley and the Comets, and performed at venues such as Hay Street’s Windmill.
A true 60’s legend, Bill Blaine is recognized and remembered as one of the hardest working musicians on WA’s burgeoning touring circuit.
Still performing, Blaine was inducted into the WA Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
Blaine will perform for Eddie Storm’s variety show at the Leslie Street Centre, which has brought a slew of great 60’s and 70’s acts to the stage this year so far.
“At our last show, 7th Heaven, everyone was up on their feet,” Organiser Vee Storm said.
“We look forward to seeing you at the show.”
Bill Blaine performs on Wednesday October 19, from 1.15pm to 2.15pm.
Tickets are $8 for non-members and $6 for members.
Tickets will be available on the door, and you can book by calling 0401 832 195.
