Major Crash investigators are seeking the public’s assistance for information about a fatal crash in Serpentine on Wednesday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said two motorcycles were travelling south on Westcott Road about 4pm.
Near Henderson Road one of the riders noticed the other motorcycle, a black coloured Kymco, had left the road and collided with a tree.
The male motorcycle rider called an ambulance and administered first aid to the female rider who had crashed.
The 41-year-old female rider from Erskine received critical injuries as a result of the crash and died at the scene.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the crash, particularly the driver of a dark coloured vehicle who may have been at the above location at the time of the crash, or anyone who saw the motorcycle in the Serpentine area prior to the crash.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
