Bessie and Bud come as a package deal: they both have difficult backgrounds, and have become very dependent on each other during their time at K9.
They to sleep and snore together, do everything together with Bessie always looking out for Bud, who is a special needs dog.
Bessie is a large red female Mastiff/Rottweiler born in June 2008.
She has a lovely motherly nature with gentle manners.
Sadly, Bessie has not had the best life, arriving at K9 in extremely poor condition, very underweight and depressed, but she has since recovered and is now very happy and healthy.
Bud is a large black male Mastiff x, born July 27, 2014.
He is near deaf, and has had a difficult life so far.
He is wary of some men and would need to be introduced slowly, and he is not suitable around young children as he can get overexcited, however he is fine with older children.
Bud has nice manners and would love a little more training in hand signals so he can understand people better.
He's just a big happy puppy who makes friends quickly and loves to play and learn.
Bessie is like Bud’s carer.
Bessie would love to find a home with Bud to give him guidance, love and companionship for life.
