A 60-year-old man from Stake Hill charged with child sex offences was called a “dog” and an “oxygen thief” after facing Mandurah Magistrates Court on Monday.
The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his alleged victim, is charged with sexual penetration of a child under 13 years, and indecent dealing with a child under 13 years.
Both charges relate to a six-year-old girl who was int he man’s care.
The offences are alleged to have happened between August 20, 2014 and May 15, 2015 in Meadow Springs.
The man is no longer a foster carer.
As he left court members of the public shouted at the man.
His supporters challenged waiting media, with one woman pushing the gear of a camera operator outside court.
