Mandurah detectives have charged three people over an incident in which a taxi driver was threatened with a hammer and robbed.
It will be alleged that about 11.40pm on August 25, four males entered a taxi being driven by a 24-year-old man in Erskine, and were driven to Olive Road in Falcon.
One of the group produced a hammer before they stole money from the taxi. The taxi driver managed to disarm the men, before the four ran from the area.
Two 18-year-old men of Coodanup have each been charged with 1 x Aggravated Armed Robbery.
A 17-year-old boy of Halls Head has also been charged with 1 x Aggravated Armed Robbery.
All will appear in the Mandurah Magistrates/Children’s Court on September 13.
Inquiries will continue to locate the fourth person involved in the matter.
