Mandurah detectives are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Halls Head that left a 19-year-old man with a large facial wound.
In the early hours of Sunday morning (July 24) a group of people were throwing bricks and causing damage to vehicles in Daydream Place.
The man walked out of his house where he was confronted by the group and assaulted.
The group left the scene when other people came out of the house to assist the victim.
He was conveyed to Peel Health Campus with a large cut to the left side of his face and a wound to his abdomen.
He is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
