South Mandurah defeat Rockingham
A gallant second half from the South Mandurah Falcons saw them oust the Rockingham Rams 8.5 (53) to 10.12 (72) on Sunday.
A win to Rockingham would have kept the Rams even with the Falcons on the ladder, but instead they now find themselves a game behind and sitting in sixth place.
The Rams led by 10 points at half time before coughing up the lead and trailing by nine points at the final change.
They could contest their way back into the match and fell the Falcons by 19 points.
