IGA and SUPA IGA stores all around Mandurah will be raising funds for the McGrath breast cancer foundation throughout June.
The McGrath foundation provides support for patients suffering from breast cancer by providing specialised breast cancer care nurses in commmunities across Australia as well as organising information events to raise awareness.
For every Pink Lady, Granny Smith and Red Delicious marked apples sold at local IGA stores 20c will be donated to the McGrath IGA Breast Care Nurse project in WA.
The event raised more than $56,000 last year, that helped the foundation to provide physical, psychological and emotional support for patients across the country.
The special McGrath apples can be found at Mandurah, Miami, Old Bridge and Dawesville IGAs until June 21.
