The City of Mandurah voted on Tuesday to extend the potential lease to build a five-boat floating jetty at Mandurah’s Ocean Marina to 21 years with three five-year period renewals.
The City had already approved on February to advertise the development, that would be offered to Strzelecki Holdings if no submissions are made during the advertisement period.
The lease would allow Strzelecki Holdings to dispose of 805sqm of seabed that would accommodate five vessels up to 20m in length.
The jetty would be located on the boardwalk in front of Oceanic Retreat at The Palladio and would be available for users at no cost.
The project will require the approval of the Minister for Lands Hon Terry Redman MLA.
