The 2016 Stretch Festival is putting the artists of the region on show, with free guided tours of the the creative hotspots in town along with artists talks and gallery visits.
The first tour on May 2 saw a group of almost 20 art enthusiasts starting at the Mandurah Ocean Marina and finishing up at Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM).
The second tour is on Sunday, May 15 and begins at the Atrium Hotel with an artist’s afternoon tea from 1.30-1.45pm hosted by the Mandurah Plein Air Artists Plus, followed by visits to another five exhibiting venues.
The third and final tour will be on Sunday, May 22 from 2pm, kicking off at the Bridge Garden Bar and Restaurant.
Artist Jos Coufreur has been busy painting different views of the old traffic bridge, and some of these will be on display.
Mr Coufreur will talk about his artwork and the group will then visit the venues around the Bridge Quarter.
