The children at Little Buckets had the chance to play with two little lambs last Thursday.
The centre, which aims to reconnect children with nature and wildlife, has four chickens and one rabbit permanently in the facility and receives a weekly visit of two baby lambs.
The two lambs used to be permanently at the centre, but due to neighbour complaints to the City of Mandurah they had to be removed.
Owner Jason Healey said contact with nature and animals is crucial for children’s development and he was going to fight to keep them in the facility on a permanent basis.
He also said Little Buckets was trying to get new animal visits in upcoming months.
