POLICE remain concerned about the welfare of a 58-year-old Mandurah teacher who has been missing since Wednesday, March 9.
Colin Reginald Lyons was last seen in Halls Head driving a blue Toyota Landcruiser with the licence plate number 1BHI 281.
A police spokesperson said inquiries into the whereabouts of Mr Lyons are ongoing and they have renewed their plea for anyone with information to come forward.
Parents and students have taken to social media with concerns about his welfare.
“Beautiful teacher, wonderful human being, hope he is ok, my daughter was only just with him this morning at school,” said one concerned parent.
“He is the most amazing teacher, hope he gets found,” said a student.
He is described as being fair skinned, approximately 175cms tall with a slim build, grey short hair and a grey beard and moustache.
Mr Lyons was last seen wearing a white collared short sleeve shirt and dark coloured shorts.
Anyone who sees Mr Lyons or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
