HALLS Head College 2015 graduates have cause to smile with students gaining scholarships to study in the eastern states.
Students have been successful and gained acceptance into elite fields of medicine, engineering, dentistry and law, just to name a few.
Lauren Blaney beat out a competitive field to win a scholarship to Monash University in Melbourne where she will be studying Law and Commerce.
Nickson Nikora is another to relocate, with the talented sportsmen securing a place in Canberra’s College of Sport.
Nickson was one of the college’s inaugural Big Picture Academy graduates and will be specialising in basketball.
His internship with the Perth Wildcats and a Certificate III were key influences in ensuring he achieved his goal.
Another talented student Kiara-Lea Totton beat out a top field to be one 16 Western Australian Year 12 graduates to secure a Process Technician Traineeship with the Australian Centre for Energy Process Training (ACEPT).
Kiara- Lee will spend the first two years of her traineeship at ACEPT before venturing on site to work with major oil and gas companies.
Jochen Droogmans, last year’s dux, was acknowledged as one of the Best and Brightest by the Department of Education and will be studying Microbiology and Immunology at UWA.
Bradley O’Reilly will be at Curtin University majoring in International Relations and Chinese while Tom Stimson will be studying Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia.
Yaqin Alziyadat is aiming to be a Doctor of Radiology and will be studying Radiation therapy at Curtin.
