PEEL Thunder will kick off it 2016 campaign with two pre-season games against Swan Districts and Claremont.
The WAFL pre-season fixtures were released yesterday with Peel Thunder taking on Swan Districts at 2.15pm on February 27 at Steel Blue Oval in the open weekend.
Swan Districts narrowly missed out on the finals last season after Claremont pipped them by just three percentage points after both clubs finished on 10 wins.
The Thunder will return home on March 12 for a clash with Claremont at 2.15pm.
Claremont was eliminated by East Perth in the finals last season, the same side that went on to defeat Peel in their first ever home final.
The opening pre-season game will consist of four 25-minute quarters with the second fixture under full match conditions.
Peel Thunder’s opening regular season game will be against Subiaco at 2.15 on March 19 at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
