THE call is out for photographers across the state to enter the 2016 Mandurah Portrait and Landscape Prize, which is now in its third year.
From photography students to seasoned professionals, the competition is open to all Western Australian photographers, with a total of $6000 in cash and prizes to be won.
There is also a special Peel Region Prize.
Entries are open until March 20 across four categories; portrait, landscape, youth, and new a category for smartphones.
Last year’s competition attracted more than 400 entries, which was narrowed down to 50 finalist images displayed in an exhibition at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
This year’s competition will be a highlight of the 2016 Stretch Arts Festival program.
The Stretch team will be working with the community to develop skills and talents in photography.
The state-wide competition is being led by Mandurah Camera House.
