Benjamin Luke Shepherdson’s emotions weren’t the only thing left “a little bit shattered” when he pleaded guilty to smashing property in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday.
Shepherdson pleaded guilty to damaging the property, including a table and oven glass, in June.
Prosecution said the damages were worth more than $2000.
Shepherdson said he was shattered over the incident and knew he had to work on his alcohol problems.
The magistrate said with existing fines of $7000, a community order would give him assistance on how to deal with volatile situations.
Due to social issues Shepherdson said he would be unable to commit to an order.
The magistrate fined him $500 with $88.50 court costs.
