A DUDLEY Park woman whose home was damaged on Thursday has described her devastation at what appeared to be a random attack.
Leonie Brown returned to her Harper Court property about 4pm to find her front windows smashed, a bird bath destroyed and an outdoor table ruined.
Also damaged was her daughter’s car which had every window but one smashed and a mirror ripped off its hinges.
“Who would think this could happen in your own yard?” Mrs Brown said.
“I’ve done nothing wrong.”
The offender, who was arrested by police after a neighbour raised the alarm, made a brief appearance in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday.
He was granted bail.
The man, who is not known to Mrs Brown, left a trail of destruction in the street, with a neighbouring property also damaged.
“I’m terrified,” Mrs Brown said.
“You shouldn’t have to feel like this.”
The alleged offender’s next court date is September 18.
