Photographs of Mandurah can be breathtaking, especially at sunset, but even the photographer who sent these shots in to the Mandurah Mail wasn't prepared for how stunning our city looks from above.
Using a remotely piloted aircraft, or drone as it is commonly known, the photographer managed to take both still images and video from as high as 400ft above Mandurah's waterways.
Preferring to remain anonymous, he said he hoped people would be excited to see the city from such an angle.
"It's a thrill and always attracts a crowd, because drones are a new and exciting technology," he said.
