The rescue helicopter has been called following a light plane crash near Keysbrook.
Police said the incident happened just after 2pm in Hopeland on Yangedi Road.
A small plane has gone into bushland at the end of the runway on take-off.
A single male occupant of the plane is understood to be being airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
