Fremantle forward and former Peel Thunder player Hayden Ballantyne will miss the rest of the home and away season after rupturing his pectoralis major tendon in Saturday’s 42-point win over Carlton at Domain Stadium.

The pectoralis major is a large muscle in the upper chest, fanning across the chest from the shoulder to the breastbone.
Ballantyne suffered the injury late in the first quarter and was subbed off at half-time.
