IT is time to find your sharpest outfit for the second South West WA Police Legacy Ball which will be a fabulous night, according to Senior Constable Craig Cowcill.
The event, which will be held on August 8, is organised by a dedicated team including Michelle Fenton, the wife of a serving officer in charge.
The ball has been created to assist in maintaining Legacy which is a charitable organisation that was created to assist with families of fallen police officers.
“The support they provide to the annual events organised help to maintain unity and a continuous support network for the families survived from tragedy,” she said.
“As the wife of a servicing officer in charge I am very aware of the possibilities and feel strongly in my values to support legacy in their tireless, worthy efforts of compassion and comfort.
There is an incredible amount of solace to be had knowing that legacy will provide relief during a time of the unimaginable.
There are donations from many local businesses, accommodation packages from Willy Bay Resort and Pullman Bunker Bay Resort.
Surf Life Saving WA is one of the main sponsors for the event and there will be a surfboard signed by pro surfers up for auction.
Little Miss Band will provide local entertainment for the night.
