SOUTH Mandurah extended its lead in every quarter to run out 54-point winners against Rockingham in round 12 of the Peel Football League.
Samuel Hart led the way for the Falcons with five goals to push his season tally to 46 while John Bennell and Blair Bell kicked three each to help the side to a 20.14 (134) to 12.8 (80) win.
The Falcons’ 10th win cemented its position on top of the ladder while Rockingham’s poor season continued with the side in sixth position with just two wins.
Pinjarra fell out of touch with the top three after Halls Head handed them their second consecutive loss.
Pinjarra trailed by just eight points at three-quarter time but Halls Head were able to pull away to win, 12.11 (83) to 9.12 (66).
Pinjarra are now fourth with seven wins, two wins behind second-placed Halls Head.
Adam Clancy led Waroona to comfortable 19.15 (129) to 10.6 (66) win against Mandurah with seven goals.
Mandurah was competitive for most of the game but failed to kick a goal in the last as the margin blew out from 34 to 63 points.
Jay Walton was impressive for Mandurah with six goals after kicking five the week before.
Waroona are third level on win with Halls Head while Mandurah remain in last with two wins.
Baldivis were far too strong for Mundijong recording a 83-point win, 21.12 (138) to 8.7 (55).
Daniel Kimberley and Callum Black both slotted six goals for Baldivis and were well supported by Emmanuel Collard with five.
Baldivis has now drawn level on wins with Pinjarra inn fourth while Mundijong continue to battle with Rockingham and Mandurah for the wooden spoon with all three sides on two wins.
In the Reserves, Waroona defeated Mandurah, Halls Head were too strong for Pinjarra, Baldivis thrashed Centrals and South Mandurah was too good for Rockingham.
In the Colts, Waroona defeated Mandurah, Halls Head thrashed Pinjarra, Baldivis thrashed Centrals and South Mandurah was too good for Centrals.
This weekend Mandurah come up against Pinjarra, Rockingham play Halls Head, Baldivis face South Mandurah and Centrals play Waroona.
