A MANDURAH man faced court on Friday after being charged with child sex offences.
The man, who cannot be named in order to protect his victim, had previously been charged with indecently recording a child who was a relative.
Police laid fresh charges this week including two counts of indecently dealing with a child who was a relative and two counts of sexual penetration of a child over 13 and under 16 years of age.
The man, who appeared via video from Hakea Prison, was not required to plead.
Bail had been refused during an earlier appearance.
His lawyer said police were still examining the man’s computers and more charges could be laid.
Magistrate Vivien Edwards remanded the man in custody before his next court date on June 12.
