PEEL Thunder has won four games in a row for the first time in its history after a win over the Claremont Tigers at Bendigo Bank Stadium today.
The Thunder took the game away against the winless Tigers (0-5) in the third quarter, kicking three goals to none and eventually won the game 16.12 (108) to Claremont's 11.15 (81).
The Thunder (4-1) now sit second on the ladder following four straight wins against Claremont, East Perth, Perth and East Fremantle.
Subiaco sit on top of the ladder with a percentage of 137.33 while the Thunder sit at 131.31.
Peel's only loss of the season came when they lost by seven points to West Perth in their first game of the season.
Brendon Jones (28 disposals and five inside 50s) Jacob Ballard (29 disposals and a goal) and Max Duffy (20 disposals and three goals) were all named in the best players.
Gerald Ugle kicked three majors while Leroy Jetta and Jack Hannath added two each.
Hayden Crozier had 27 touches while Connor Blakely again found the ball and wrapped up 24 disposals.
The Thunder led by just four points after the first change but kicked five goals to three to lead by 20 points at half-time.
At one stage in the final term they led by more than 40 points, before Claremont came back and added some respectability to their scoreboard.
Darcy Cameron kicked three for Claremont while Ryan Neates was good with 23 touches.
The Thunder will go for their fifth win in a row when they take on Swan Districts (2-2) at Steel Blue Oval next Saturday afternoon.
