WITH American Courtney Conlogue crowned the 2015 Drug Aware Margaret River Pro women's champion, the only question left is who will win the men's event?
With the wind causing a lay day on Thursday, Friday morning saw just four men on the beach ready to tackle the semi-finals.
First up was John John Florence against Nat Young before local hope Taj Burrow takes on Adriano de Souza.
BRAZILIAN Adriano de Souza has been crowned the 2015 Drug Aware Margaret River Pro men’s champion and the new world number one.
The 28-year-old was impressive in out-surfing John John Florence in the final with a 0.66 point victory.
De Souza has been in great form in 2015 with a third place finish at the Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast and second in the Rip Curl Pro at Bell’s Beach.
"I came here really motivated after losing the final at Bells and it is such an honour to put my name on the winner's list," he said.
"I feel I have improved and the hard work is paying off."

EITHER Hawaiian John John Florence or Brazilian Adriano de Souza will be crowned the 2015 Drug Aware Margaret River Pro men's champion.
In the first semi-final, Florence took on American Nat Young and used tactics to full advantage.
Sitting out at sea for over 10 minutes before committing to his first wave, Florence put a score of 8.17 on the board.
He continued to look for some massive airs and was dumped on attempt two and three.
With eight minutes left in the heat Florence scored a huge 8.70 wave and was content to sit out the last five minutes.
"This place is so amazing, we've been getting such fun waves the last few days," Florence said after his semi-final win.
"I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing in the final and hoping to get some good open-faced waves."
In the second semi-final, Taj Burrow drew first blood with a big left hander to score 7.50.
A 5.77 on his third wave gave the local boy a 13.27 lead before de Souza dropped in a 7.03 and a 6.63 in the latter stages of the contest to claim victory by 0.39.
SEMI-FINAL ONE: Hawaiian John John Florence (16.87) defeats American Nat Young (12.90).
SEMI-FINAL TWO: Brazilian Adriano de Souza (13.66) defeats Australian Taj Burrow (13.27).
