PEEL Thunder stormed home to defeat Perth by five points on Saturday at Lathlain Park.
Peel had trailed at the end of the opening three quarters and looked to be down and out in the last before kicking four goals in a row to capture the lead late in the game.
Peel were able to hold off one last charge to win 11.7 (73) to 9.14 (68).
Peel has now won two games in a row to take their season record to 2-1, moving into the top five for the first time this season.
Perth is yet to win a game and sit in last with four losses.
Docker-listed talls Michael Apeness and Jack Hannath kicked two goals each for the Thunder while Max Duffy (22 disposals), former Perth midfielder Gerard Ugle (22 touches) and defender Josh Bootsma were named among the best players.
Young-gun Connor Blakely collected 29 possessions while fellow youngster Ed Langdon picked up 25.
Brendon Jones playing in his 100th game for Peel Thunder was his ever-consistent self with 23 touches.
Former Peel Thunder player Liam McKenna collected 30 possessions for Perth.
