THE Mandurah Magic women have moved to equal top of the State Baskeball League ladder after two wins on the weekend.
The Magic took on Perry Lakes Hawks on Saturday at home with Magic guard Casey Mihovilovich dropping 30 points and pulling down 11 rebounds to lead the Magic to a 79-72 win and a 4-0 record, while the Hawks fell to 2-1.
Mihovilovich’s hit 10 free-throws from 11 attempts along with four three-pointers.
Briana Klasztorny and Ashlee Sidebottom added 11 points each for the Magic, with Klasztorny also pulling down nine boards.
The Magic got game-time into all 12 players with every player hitting the scoreboard.
On Sunday, the Magic took on the Perth Redbacks and came away with a 50-44 win.
Both teams shot poorly from the field, with the Magic and the Redbacks shooting less than 30 per cent from two-point and three-point range.
Mihovilovich was again the standout with 13 points and seven boards while Sidebottom added 10 points and six boards.
