Man, 50, woman, 33, charged over Duncraig pharmacy robbery

Police allege a 50-year-old Mirrabooka man entered the Beach Road pharmacy just before 7.15pm and demanded staff hand over cash and prescription drugs after threatening them with a knife.

The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash before allegedly making staff lay on the floor.

He fled in a vehicle driven by a woman.

The car was stopped a short time later by police and both were arrested.

A 50-year-old man and 33-year-old woman, both from Mirrabooka, have been charged with aggravated robbery.

Both were due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on March 29.
