EVERYTHING was all topsy-turvy at the weekend's Western Australian Circus Festival with hundreds of zany acts doing their thing.
A big crowd of local and international visitors walking around the Karridale site were entertained by acrobats, highwire walking acts, contortionists, sword swallowers, cabaret shows, and a woman who could lift a washing machine by her hair.
As if it wasn't fun enough watching, some visitors boldly stepped up to give it a go.
One youngster called on his inner Houdini and tried to wriggle out of a straitjacket, while others took the chance to try the unicycle or hula hoop.
