HALLS Head Community College students put their best work on show last with a photography exhibition at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (MPAC).
Students took part in an after-school course taught by Yosuke Ueda, who also teaches Japanese at the college.
Mr Ueda said he approached MPAC about displaying the students’ work publicly.
“I hope this exhibition has given our students an opportunity to capture something beautiful, create something interesting and connect with the community,” he said.
“The class has run for the whole year and we looked at techniques and styles of photography,” year nine student Jayde Berry.
Jayde said the class had changed the way she looked at photography.
The photos will be on display until Thursday.
