TRAINERS and drivers took to the roads in the past week with meets at Kalgoorlie, Gloucester Park, Pinjarra and Northam in the space of five days.
Maddison Brown continued her good form in the cart, winning behind Tanaka Eagle at Kalgoorlie for Courtney Burch and placing second with Call Me Zorro.
At Gloucester Park, Chris Lewis recorded four wins for a host of trainers.
He won behind Heez On Fire for trainer Rod Oliver, Jaxon Fella for Mathew Scott and Sensational Gabby and Dynamite Dude for Ross Olivieri.
The form continued on Monday in Pinjarra with Lewis winning behind Mondo Cavallo for Byford trainer Trevor Wright and Imjustforyou for Clive Dalton.
Colin Brown recorded a double in the cart at Gloucester Park on the Friday night with Shardons Rocket for trainer Tony Svilicich and Simply Susational for Greg and Skye Bond.
Simply Susational is now likely to be the favourite in the Spudshed Golden Nugget Prelude to be run at Gloucester Park tomorrow night after drawing the pole position.
Brown stepped up with his own nominations at the York meeting run at Northam and was successful with Franco Toulone in the Mariann Morley Pace for owner Liam O’Connor but just missed out with Erskine Range and Shes So Fair who finished in second.

Michael Brennan’s Pinjarra stable has enjoyed a good run of form with In The Perfect Storm, driven by Garry Hall Junior, winning at Gloucester Park last Friday followed by Pay Me Quick on Saturday night at Bunbury with Chris Voak in the cart.
Pay Me Quick ventured to Northam three days later to win again with Hall Jnr behind the reins.
The Pinjarra Paceway Pubtab re-opened on Friday night for the summer season.
