Inner Wheel Club Mandurah donates park bench

MEMBERS of the Inner Wheel Club of Mandurah donated a park bench and had it installed on the eastern foreshore for the community to enjoy.
The club have previously supported the oncology and renal wards at Peel Health Campus, women’s refuge Pat Thomas House, Catherine Hamlin Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia and the Flores Project in Indonesia.
The group’s national project is cord blood research at clubs have so far raised more than $2million for research grants with the aim of treating Leukaemia and other blood diseases.
The Mandurah branch meet for dinner of the fourth Wednesday of the month and community-minded women who would like to join should call Ms O’Shea on 9535 6570.
